Last week saw me correctly predict the scorelines for Blackburn vs Everton and Arsenal vs Liverpool. As I said then, I’m not exactly Paul the Octopus and I’ll struggle to get more than two this week. Some tough, yet cracking, looking matches are in store for us tomorrow and I, for one, cannot wait to watch all the highlights on Match of the Day, even if the new credits are worse than Joey Barton’s moustache. Here are the fixtures in full:

Saturday, 21 August 2010
Arsenal v Blackpool, 15:00
Birmingham v Blackburn, 15:00
Everton v Wolverhampton, 15:00
Stoke v Tottenham, 15:00
West Brom v Sunderland, 15:00
West Ham v Bolton, 15:00
Wigan v Chelsea, 17:15

Sunday, 22 August 2010
Newcastle v Aston Villa, 13:30
Fulham v Man Utd, 16:00

Monday, 23rd August 2010
Man City v Liverpool

Week one saw Blackpool pull off an outstanding 4-0 away victory against Wigan. Arsenal tomorrow, however, are a totally different prospect. Whilst similarities may be drawn to when Hull were promoted two years ago, I struggle to see Blackpool pulling off the same surprise that Hull managed at the Emirates.

And now, the wait is over. I will look into my crystal ball and reveal tomorrow’s scorelines. I may even tell you tomorrow night’s Lottery numbers.

Arsenal 3-1 Blackpool
Birmingham 1-0 Blackburn
Everton 2-0 Wolves
Stoke 1-1 Tottenham
West Brom 2-1 Sunderland
West Ham 2-2 Bolton
Wigan 0-3 Chelsea

Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa
Fulham 1-2 Manchester United

Manchester City 1-1 Liverpool

So there we have it. Feel free to leave your predictions in the comment box below. As always, there is no prize for whoever gets the most right. Here’s to another great weekend of football.

Some good shouts in there Mr Joyce. Kevin Davies is a beast! Maybe worth sticking a few quid on him to soften the blow if you do lose? 😉 I’ve gone for a goal-fest at Upton Park. That’ll probably end up 0-0 then.
